My new craft project is knitting - I bought some Inca wool today and will borrow needles from Mum on the weekend and make a start. It will cost about $45 for a scarf so it isn't exactly cheap, I'm sure I could buy one for less :-) Oh well it'll be fun to do and hopefully not too difficult. Guess what everyone will be getting for Christmas?? My last crafty output were needlebooks made from felt, buttons and ribbon and lots of people I know, now have a safe place to keep their pins and needles!
We went to the dawn service yesterday at the War Memorial, an early and cold start, but worth it. It was great to have a day off in the middle of the week, got through a lot of things on my 'to do' list. I am also getting back into exercising this week, walking/jogging every day and doing my weights and sit ups.
Got a nice big research task at work this week and we are using a wiki to provide access to the research results. It will be fun to put it all together, play with a wiki and also to promote the library and our skills. It looks like the library move may be later in the year now but we have started clearing and organising already (weeding, throwing out etc).

Family Court
Had a stressful week last week. Financial settlement battle is looming again with solicitors and barristers once more involved and charging by the minute :-( I had a quiet Easter break which was good - I was feeling very run down and may have been fighting off a virus. Anita came down from Sydney after Easter for a night - she will be down here for work fairly regularly which is good. Nice to have a visitor...
Yesterday I went to the gallery to see the History of Australian Printmaking and a Poster exhibition. They were very good but I was hoping to see a Hall Thorpe.....
I am not getting very far with my New Years resolutions although I have been keeping up my exercising and have not been eating too badly.... Here's hoping the settlement gets sorted out soon and I can get on with the rest of it!!
